Animals and kids, a winning combination
BARC has some of the smallest philanthropists on its’ donor list, but there’s nothing small about their contribution to the work the shelter does! Kids bring in their jars of change, bags of pet toys they’ve collected at their birthday parties, checks with monies they’ve made at their lemonade stands and more. Carson and Lowell Weisbord, featured on BARC’s homepage, very generously donated a portion of their allowance for the past 2 years! The donations may not have as many zeros as the various grants and corporate sponsors non-profits depend on to survive, but the heartfelt handful of change brought in by a 6 year-old is priceless to BARC. One of the most impressive examples of giving is the Common Cents program. BARC is honored to have been chosen again and again by the kids of Common Cents. These guys do their homework! They have roundtable discussions to choose the charities they want to support, research those charities on the web and how they help their communities and follow up on their choices like any of the big philanthropies. Parents and teachers should check out their website to get involved. It’s a cliche, but kids are the future and in an increasingly cruel world we need to teach them compassion for all animals.

Hello.
Dog is man’s best friend, while Cat is girl best friend.
I know it need alot of hard work and perseverence to
raise an amount of contribution.People nowadays are
getting frugal with money spending.
I’m here to contribute a moral support, even though
I intend to be a philanthropist. My late father was a
benevolent person. But I can’t follow my father footstep
because I’m lack of money. The only thing I can do
is cheer and give a moral support.Brother/Sister is
not alone.Keep going a good deed and effort.Sentient
being need to help each other.
All The Best.
Infinite Wishes from Asia Pacific =)
